Missions statement
The heart of the ethos of Free Rein Africa is to blend the love of horses with the open African landscapes. To intimately share the allure of the African bush and our love of both horses and horse riding.
Nothing beats the feeling of experiencing an African sunset on horseback or feeling the wind in your hair.
Location
Free Rein Africa camp is situated within the borders of the Greater Kruger National Park, in the world famous Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Our horse riding and conservation exercises are conducted on a non Big 5 reserve outside of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.
About me
Being a longstanding resident of Hoedspruit, I have grown up surrounded by the magic of the African bush. Having family who have ridden, competed and stabled their own horses, the love of both the African bush and horses was born within me. Sharing the joy I experience of this unique biome with others, from the smallest critters to the largest mammals, as well as the majestic and sweeping landscapes and dramatic sunsets, is fulfilling.
